Overview

Starting point: Beshisahar   Ending point: Pokhara   Duration of Trek: 25 days   Best season: Except Jan and Feb   Nar Phu Trek Trek to Nar Phu area takes you to the out of the ordinary and hidden Nar Phu valley that is located in the isolated corner of the Annapurna region. The Nar and Phu valleys are recently opened for trekking which has amazing regions where people adopting Tibetan culture settle. This is a trek that rewards you with high passes, gigantic peaks, glaciers, far-flung villages, narrow gorges, pleasant forests, monasteries and distinctive mountain cultures.   The entry way to Nar Phu valley is contracted and forested, the valley opens up to a vast area of high snow-topped peaks, prehistoric villages and high elevated grazing lands. Very minority number of tourists has walked around this region. While trekking to this infrequently walked trail we will be camping along the way to Nar and Phu, we visit some of the virgin and attractive villages of the Tibetan Buddhist. Buddhist pilgrims probably makes visit to Phu in order to visit the well-known monastery, Tashi Lha Khang and get a blessing from Lama.   With All Trekkers Team you can go for Nar Phu trek and observe incredible views of the Annapurna massif, Machhapuchhre Himal, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu Himal, Tilicho peak, Dhaulagiri range and several other snow-capped peaks. And you will come across challenging passes crossing through like Masokanto La (5099m.), Tilicho Pass (5230m.) and Kangla pass (5200m.)

Day 01:

Meeting upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport (1350meter) by our representative, transfer to hotel After you arrive, our representative of All Trekkers Team will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu but make sure about our representative with a display board at the arrival gate. You will be then transferred to the hotel. We can either relax in the afternoon or hang around. You will have a dinner in a traditional Nepalese restaurant where we take pleasure in a Nepalese cultural program as well as food. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02:

Stay at Kathmandu for the official procedure, overnight at hotel Today you will have some official procedure to complete in order to get ready for trekking. Also, our experienced and skilled guide will brief you about the trekking plans. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu

Day 03:

Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley, overnight at hotel Today you visit Kathmandu valley and see Durbar Squares at Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan. Visit to Bauddhanath will be memorable experience since it is one of the biggest stupas in Nepal. And, Swayambhunath situated top on the mount in the city known as the Monkey Temple will also fascinate you. Also, you will visit Pashupatinath, at the bank of Bagmati River which is one of the Hindus sacred places. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 04:

Drive to Beshisahar, 6hrs drive, overnight at Lodge.

Day 05: Trek to Syange:

Our track today passes through waterfall and all alongside the river side. The path is gradually up and will be through muddy road. Very often we can see vehicle on this except the monsoon time. But, still very scenic.

Day 06: Trek to Chamje (1430m.) Over night in hotel

Today, we go away from Syange and the trail moves gradual up and will meet some villages on the trail.  village traversing fields and local settlements that take about 2 hours. From Jagat , we move further on a rocky path and long picturesque waterfall crossways the river which finally brings us at Chamje for staying tonight.

Day 07: Trek to Dharapani (1920m.), overnight at in hotel

From Chamje, we pass through a suspension bridge above the deep Marsyangdi River, after traversing the bridge and we have another vertical ascend for next 2-3 hours till we reach Tal, a village located on the gorge beside the river Marsyangdi and adorned with striking waterfall and sandy river. In addition, the walk follows the stream up to the Dharapani, and we move all the way through the uneven trails and cross few suspension bridges and small teashops take you to serene and large village at Dharapani where we set our camp for the overnight.

Day 08: Trek to Koto (2600meter), overnight in hotel.

Day 09: Trek to Dharmasala (3230meter), overnight in hotel.

Day 10: Trek to Kayang (3740meter), overnight in hotel.

Day 11: Trek to Phu Village (4050m.), overnight in hotel.

Today, we follow the riverbed and come across some Mani, Chrotens. Then after, we ascend from the riverbed until we reach the Phu valley. About walking for an hour from the valley doorway we cross the Phu Khola (stream) and start on moving up to the Phu village. We spend our night on a tented camp in Phu Village.

Day 12: Excursion around Phu valley, overnight in hotel.

We today rest for a day and visit around the Phu village and might also go ascending a little more up in the valley. Overnight in hotel.

Day 13: Trek to Junam (3550meter), overnight in hotel.

Day 14: Trek to Nar Village (4150m.), overnight in hotel.

We climb to Nar Village (4110m.) today. We continue walking on a long but moderate way up through the side moraine of Temdenzon Khola, on a fine path. At the base of Kang La, we set our camp at Nar village for overnight.

Day 15: Explore Nar Village, overnight in hotel

We have a rest day today and we explore around Nar village. Overnight in hotel.

Day 16: Trek to Ngwal (3675m.) after crossing Kang La pass (5315m.), overnight at tented camp

Today we have a challenging and long day, however it is very worthwhile. We have to traverse the Kang La pass at (5280m.). We have a quick ascent to the crest of the pass where we will see a Chorten and several views of the Annapurna range. From the peak of the pass, we have a vertical decent and after an hour we walk on a grassy lane that takes us to Ngawal. Here we set our camp for overnight.

Day 17: Trek to Manang (3550m.), overnight in hotel.

Grassland comes into view on both sides of the trail today and below a rocky Mountain, we can observe the Braka village with its superb monastery. Big chortens and Mani walls boom and the giant peaks Annapurna II, III, IV, Gangapurna (7455m.), Tilicho Peak (7134m.) appears before you. After a small steep ascend we arrive at Manang, a large village for this isolated peak region.

Day 18: Trek to Ledar (4250m.) Towards Thorong La pass, overnight in hotel.

We move further towards Thorung La today. En route, we traverse a river, mount to Tengi 120m lying above Manang and go up further passing Marsyangdi Valley making our way up to north-west then we will reach at the valley of Jarsang Khola. Along with the fantastic vistas of Annapurna mountain range, we walk beyond the green vegetation of juniper and alpine grass to get to the small village of Gunsang. We approach to striking meadows and deep forests of juniper, barberry etc. The trail moves along a big stream that comes from Chulu West, Gundang and takes to a rich grazing land.

Day 19: Trek to Thorung high camp (4800m.), overnight in hotel.

Departing from Ledar, we go up steadily to an edge before moving down to the Marsyangdi and traverse via an enclosed wooden bridge. After a little climb up the peak path on the bank, we move further to a narrow track across an uneven vertical incline and then climb to Thorung high camp where we set our camp for overnight.

Day 20: Trek to Muktinath (3800m.)
