There are many lakes around Pokhara City. The main ones you will see are Fewa and Begnas Lake.  And, if you like you can visit more lakes.  (Rupa Lake is nice but a bit far from the city.) You will also have the opportunity to see caves, waterfalls and religious parts of the city. There are two different viewing placesin Pokhara where you can see the snow capped peaks of the Himalayas. Sarangkot and World peace pagoda are the names of these 2 viewing spots.

Detailed itinerary for Pokhara Easy Treks.

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu:

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu our official representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to a standard hotel.  Once at your hotel you will have leisure time followed by an evening welcome dinner at a typical Nepalese Restaurant. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2 Kathmandu - Trek preparation and sightseeing

Today, the first half of your day will be spent on guided city tours (tour includes Kathmandu Durbar Square, SyambunathStupa, PashupatiNath Temple, Hindu Temple and BoudhanathStupa which is one of the largest Stupas in the world).  In the afternoon we will meet for a pre-trip discussion.

Day 3 Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara: 6/7 hours

Today, our journey begins, leaving Kathmanduat 7 AM. You will have 2 breaksalong the way where you will be able to buy food, etc. Our route will take us past scenicvillages, rivers and various landscapes.  You will arrive in Pokhara by 2 PM and then transfer to the hotel. You will have leisure time for a of couple hours. We will take you to see Fewa Lake in the evening.  There you will have the opportunity to go boating and visit the island where a famous temple of Pokhara City is located (Barahi temple). Then you will have a nice dinner and overnight in the hotel in Pokhara.

Day 2 Sightseeing - Pokhara city.

By private car we will show you the different sights in Pokhara.These places are the highlights for tourist, they are also important historically and religiously. We will tour lakes, caves, temples, museum and the viewpoint of the World Peace Pagoda.  Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 3 Hike to Sarangkot - 3 hours.

The journey will begin from your hotel after you’ve had your breakfast. The trail is step but very scenic. You will see colorful view of Pokhara city, Fewa Lake and many mountainpeaks.  When we arrive at Sarangkotwe will have a nice lunch.After lunch you will have free timeuntil the evening. In evening we will take you to see the beautiful sunset over Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. South Annapurna, Mt. Neelgiri, Fishtail, Himchuli, Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna IV and many unknown peak as well. Overnight at Sarangkot.

Day 4 Sarangkot to Naudada (Nag Dada)

This morning we take the opportunity to view the sunrise from the same point you witnessed yesterdays sunset.  Then we return to your hotel for a tasty breakfast.  After breakfast we will walk about 4 hours on an easy, comfortable trail. Todays walk will provide you with more opportunities to view the mountains, villages, fields, and lakes. Overnight at Naudada (Nagdada)

Day 5 Naudada (Nag Dada to Dhampus)

In the morning after your breakfast we start our journey.  It begins with a 1 hour bus ride toKande. From Kandewe willstart our walk toDhampus. You will walk for about 4 hours on this day. You will walk through different villages and different ethnic cast people and have more great views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. South Annapurna, Mt. Neelgiri, Mt. Fishtail, Himchuli, Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna IV. Overnight at Dhampus.

Day 6 Dhampus / Pokhara to Kathmandu

On this day you will see more wonderful views. One particularly magnificent view to look for will beDhampus peak. Trekking time will be around 3 hours to get Phedi. At Phediwe will meet our prearranged car for a1 hour drive back to Pokhara.  In Pokhara you will board your late afternoon flight back to Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu

Day 7 Fly back to home.

On this day we will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight home. Farewell!  We will be waiting to see you next year for another long and hard adventure.
